Financial and Investor Relations

This is a three-day hands-on session to develop financial and business skills in communicating with stakeholders outside your organization, including investors, lenders, community and business leaders.  The course covers the communications role for public, private and non-profit organizations.  The focus is on delivering financial and strategic messages through written communication in a team setting.  We will work with a specific organization to define the key communications issues and wrap with a peer review.

About your instructor:  Gudrun Granholm is a leader in financial communication and brings to each session the practical, real-world experience of a seasoned CFO, blended with a great desire to help managers understand “what’s behind the numbers.”  Her trainings are highly interactive, use real-life case studies, role playing and focus groups.  Gudrun has specialty industry expertise in the medical, technology and retail/distribution industries.

Prior to founding Box One, Gudrun served in a variety of financial roles, from financial analyst, controller to CFO/CEO over a 25 year period, for companies including The Washington Post Company and The Smithsonian.  Her training and consulting includes engagements with Fortune 500 organizations, universities and professional associations. Gudrun received her BA from Harvard University and her MBA from Stanford Business School.
